i got the winter background too! but i have no clue how i got it. i havent been feeding much and my ryu is always taken good care of.

so it seems like its the number of times people play/interact with your ryu and the owner gets the theme? hmmm...

well that's an interesting way to look at it for sure but as some people have even already gotten the BG when they still had an egg i don't think that's the solution for this one.

I was thinking, could the backgrounds be forum-related? Since it is possible to get the winter one before you have your own Ryu. Maybe for mentioning poop? :o

A few people seem to have it already, if you scroll up Fabulous has it too ^^
It's so confusing trying to figure out how you unlock them since it doesn't seem to relate to taking care of the Ryus, I was thinking the same thing about something related to the forums :o

Ah, I see now! Time spent online since the Ryus got released? No clue, my overall time online is small. And Then I would think more people would have it.. Could they be random?.. I guess that's always a possibility

At this point its almost hard not to think its random! I’ve seen someone get the winter background while still with an egg, so unless interacting with other Ryus had anything to do with it, I am totally stumped right now.

I'm online usually at this time daily and yesterday picked all poop on UYS and played with the ryus i found awake to full hearts, it was from 11 to 12 (NST +5) yesterday and today i have the snow bg!
I think i made a post or two but no more, most likely thanked/repped, didn't play with my Leon also as he was full hearts!

I want the pastel beach now! hahahaha
