What happens if you don't activate a neopet account?

I have a list of over 30 accounts I created and I was wondering what would happen if I didn't active them? I was going to let them sit for a while that means months.

It'll ask you to activate it whenever you log in and try to do anything. It restricts your access to nearly every part of the site.

You just won't be able to do much. You won't be able to access any part of the site that includes interaction with other players, and possibly some other features if I remember correctly

Pretty sure it just sits there like a regular account, but includes the restrictions mentioned above. I've logged into shells that were years inactive and asked to be verified.
