I've wondered this before, too. I guess since they barely have enough time to do tickets that socializing is out of the question, lol
For a fews weeks I've been thinking about why TNT doesn't socialize with its players?
What I mean is: why the moderators/staff members don't participate on the forums and talk with the other players? For several years I've been playing games similar to Neopets and other Pokémon related stuff and in those games, the mods would socialize with the players, look for trades, host raffles and etc.
Just thought it would be nice since that way it would be easier for users to reach out to the staff members to ask questions regarding the game, account, etc.

i love luna
They used to do it on the premium forums quite often, well, not as often as other sites but at least once in a while you would see a reply from snarkie and other TNT staffs. I guess now a days is even harder for them with JumpStart having less staff and much less free time to use on that kind of things. It would be nice though, yeah![]()
They should, but I guess they're only like 5 members LOL.
Not but seriously, they need to learn a bit more about known their fan base...
I would assume they don't want to be accused of playing favorites.
It would be lovely :c
In that Reddit AMA I think they said that most staff members were banned from interacting with players?
Because they weren't trained properly or something?
It must suck to have been a player before joining staff and suddenly not being able to talk to anyone anymore.

They lost their personal and creative touch when they changed owners. Donna and Adam were very vocal with players at the begninning, as well as LaywerBot and Snarkie. Munsterpoo and Dragona1 actually played also which gave a personal touch. After letting go of most of the creative team and the others leaving, JumpStart is trying to pick up Viacom's pieces.
On another side, Neopets is turning into a money grab. With the addition of the neocash mall/premium, tnt made it clear they care more about users who spend money. Even when you submit a ticket, they ask if you have bought neocash.
When it comes to moderators, I am pretty sure they are under-staffed and they literally have no time. They closed an office somewhere in Asia that housed a lot of support staff a couple years ago. It would be nice if users heard from TNT, and they do somewhat on their Facebook page which is a bit of a progression I suppose.
