    Yet another question~

What is the line between a legit pet and an illegit pet?

Is it only dependent if the cache is updated with a seemingly legit account?

If you trade a legit pet for an illegit pet, is the legit pet an illegit pet?

Is it even possible for an illegit pet to become a legit pet/vice versa?

Why do I ask so many questions?

    tl;dr

a Legit pet is a pet:
That you legitimately got through trading/making (making with legit NP's now), and trading with a legit user as well if the pet was ever traded.

Illegit; if you have to use the word 'illegit', 'inactive', or some variation in the sentence, the pet is illegit.

So is it the moment that a pet has been inactive and then traded suddenly for a "unequal trade" is forever branded illegit?

I like these answers, but I'd really like some more clarification.

If you got the pet through illegit means (acc cracks, buying the inactive pet, etc) then yes.
If the person is paying you for this "unequal trade", even more so

So I guess illegit is forever, and any association = illegit.

And legit pets traded for illegit pets remain legit.

This answer is good enough for me I suppose. . Anyone else can add if they like.
