Yes, you can disable it after logging in, just make sure you turn it back on when logging out.
I'm not sure about closing and re-opening the window, I hope that doesn't affect anything because I do that all the time.
I'm aware that the site only tracks your IP when logging in and logging out. So does this mean that once I log in with the proxy I can stop using it and return to my normal IP (proxys are always slow for me) when browsing? How about if I close the window and open it back up, will it track my IP still? Help is appreciated.

Closing/opening shouldn't affect the proxy but if you want to check, before you go on neo just go to whatismyip.com and you can see if you're still using the proxy IP.

@(you need an account to see links) Thanks for that. Hmm if you're not sure about closing/opening the window, I'll have to re-enter the proxy before opening/closing the window then.
@(you need an account to see links) No, I meant if you log in with a proxy, turn off the proxy, then open/close the window, will your IP be traced then? I'm thinking not since it doesn't require you to log in.
I think you're right, that shouldn't be a problem...done it plenty of times with no issues.
