Is it "okay" that I'm angry at this? Or am I being irrational?

    ...
Some person apparently called while I was at school [sister was the one who answered the phone], who claimed that my mom drove over a kid, that the kid was in the hospital and was really pitiful. That person who claimed that was a part of a gang. A gang who's "famous" for tricking people into giving them money using that method. They claimed that my mom is in the police station.. and then that person passed the phone to another member of their gang and pretended that they were the kid who got drove over. They also somehow knew my dad's and mom's full name.. The person also said that mom was in a hurry, that's why..

Seriously, it's not fucking funny to do stuff like that =.=
There are plenty of other PRODUCTIVE things to do other than that.

I wanna fucking kill those a part of a gang slowly and painfully...
Toying with someone's emotions isn't fucking nice.

Oh man that's just unforgivable! Those people are clearly bored with their lame lives and should be punished by whipping their backs with a lash with thorns. I haven't experienced that but it sounds really awful.

One time we were at school and my professor received a call saying that his kid's already dead. I saw my prof passed out in shock and I felt like my world crumbled because she was my favorite teacher and I don't want her to lose her only son. We reported it to the police only to know that it was just a prank call. Unfortunately we weren't able to track the origin of the call.

It's totally fine that you posted this at least you have an avenue to vent out your feelings. Irrational? No, not at all. I hope you're all okay now.

Did he try to ask for money? I know of scams that used to happen in my country whereby someone calls to say that your son was kidnapped and ask you to wire money over to them, when your son is perfectly fine in school.

Yup, that was the main reason why she called, although my sister and her didn't really get to that point since my sister hung up

    "Yes" it is.

Phone the police? I don't know about your city's laws, but most cities classify phone threats at least as misdemeanor crimes, if not worse.

Better yet, you could reverse prank them next time, hey?
Pretend you've fallen for it, but are so scared shitless that you call the emergency # about ransomers and your mom that the police will trace the call asap and bust down the prank-scammers' doors, shooting up the place and make them shit Hersheys.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get the phone number they used to call us on.
I'm still waiting for them to call as I wanna deal with them myself x:
My sister made a mistake and fell for it and told them the info they wanted (How old she is, what her name is and where my mom was heading to)

You can call your phone company and/or police, they will trace it for you.

This is fucking disgusting. I am angry for you

Call the police and keep a close eye on your sister. The information she gave them could be dangerous for her.
