this editorial was a complete joke, i dont know why TNT keeps avoiding the freezing methods.

not when legitimate players get caught in the crossfire; it's bad for retaining an already dwindling player base. i know there were plenty of people all over the boards supporting the user that was wrongfully frozen, many people attested to writing editorials as well, i was hoping they'd answer, but im not suprised.

although we cheat, we still love the site and want to see it do better. i think having a better system regarding penalizing accounts would be a step in the right direction but whelp

TNT has been freezing people who did nothing except log on from a friend's house or accidentally collect dailies on a side or buy from a compromised account unknowingly for every bit of those twenty years.

Unfortunately the number of innocents who have been frozen is probably much larger than the number of cheaters.

Oh I absolutely agree, in fact, maybe its a good idea to not penalize.. anyone at all? Maybe just make an example of someone once in a while. We do need more neopets players for the game to be more interesting for all

So I kinda get why people are against cheaters who use bots to snipe and get game scores because that can affect YOUR OWN game play. Not saying I condone it because I've used bots before myself but I can see why. What I DONT understand is why people are so dumb that they can't see redistributing pets into the trading pool and the site could only actually HELP THEM.

99.9% of the time, a long time user with UCs on their account that have sat abandoned for years are not coming back. If people who cheat target non-active accounts (like is policy here at ck) it can only HELP YOU IN THE GAME regardless if you actually cheat or not. They're shooting themselves in the foot

TNT needs to realize, if they don't want to lose the site in X amount of years that they HAVE to rehaul their freezing policies. I'm not saying just look the way when people blatantly cheat but they should not be using the practices they are because, like you said, innocent players get caught in the cross-hairs entirely too much. If you cheat and get caught, if its impossible to recover the account, take your lumps and move on. If legitimate players DO return and find their accounts compromised, of course send in a ticket. But the players and TNT really need to rethink how they handle shit.

Just piping up to mention that there are probably a good number of innocents who turned to cheating because they got unfairly frozen. If you'd been playing fair for years but got frozen because a staff member was having a bad day, then it's kind of like, fuck it, if I'm going to lose my account I might as well cheat. Also rebuilding from ground zero after years of blood, sweat and tears really sucks.

Agree. Plus, how would it be possible to get millions of NP without some cheating? Playing games is way too slow.

Exactly this, I encourage people to look into cheating because of this. You can be frozen anytime for next to no reason at all, might as well live it up and get what you want

If they're going to treat you like a criminal before you even log in, why bother attempting to keep your hands clean and suffer through a site that's buggy, games that feel like chores or intentional destruction of your property (Make some Noise), or spend money actually gambling with gachapon capsules?

Please. I will take the shortcut and preserve what little sanity I have left.
