I'm not thrilled with how they've decided to convert our UCs and re-unconvert them (that better be free...) and I would have preferred a trophy for sure, but I'm feeling mostly OK about this. I'm just so grateful I didn't grind for 1000s of hours to trade for them *and* I'm not a PCer, otherwise I would have been a lot saltier!

From what I gathered yes, on the backend "UCs" won't exist anymore. I was just addressing the part about re-buying the NC item to apply the UC skin again, which doesn't seem to be the case.

To me it sounded like the trophy will distinguish the OGUCs from the NCUCs and implying that "not all pets will get the trophy" means replicas probably won't.

I mean.. that’s great and all, but not really too interesting. Nobody trades pets for trophies. Personally I feel like that’s an unacceptable consolation prize. Like hey yeehaw, thanks for sticking around through all these years - here have a trophy and buy our NC items. -shrug-

did they say that later? earlier in the stream they just said old pets (not necessarily ucs) were going to have trophies

To the people who are angry: did you buy or sell UCs? If not, I'm surprised.

This is honestly so great for the majority of users who never got to choose whether or not to keep their UC pets. And I mean ALL of them. Meercas were ruined, as well as Lutaris. The Faerie Ixi looks a bit different (to me it looks better honestly) and people think they're being ruined the same way. Not comparable at all.

I'll join you in the "not angry about this" corner.

I kinda like the new faerie Ixi, too...I've never been a fan of the faint, thin, or coloured outlines of some UCs.

theyre interested in a NC trading post but bigger priority is TP/AC bugs, NP limits, leniency on rules etc
