As much as I feel bad for the people who spent more on the curtains or whatever other item that gets dropped on the mall next, I gotta say this is a blessing to me and many others more because Jesus fuckin Christ, dealing with NCCers is the WORST. Every time I get a new pet I just groan at the thought of having to go through those gigalong WL/TL pages and talk to their stuck up owners who only want overoffers. I didnt get the curtains this time and now I never will because I dont wanna pull out all of my hair in anger having to trade for it lmao

That�s why I just prefer to trade for any wish that�s HTF on here lol. Depending on what it is you�re looking for it can be impossible. I was looking for a Spooky House FG ages ago and no one even bothered reply to my board.

I definitely don�t expect overoffers (I hope) but I know also when you have limited fodder to get your own wishes it�s hard to not be picky with letting them go for easier ones. The whole system is fucked though tbh.

I'm not seeing the problem at all, this has literally happened to me many times in the real world.
Buying stuff at full price just to have it go on sale.
Literally last week I bought a car seat for $350 and it went on sale 2 days later for $150 on amazon. Shucks, wish I waited but I'm not going to have a meltdown about it.

I buy video games at full price and they drop in price sometimes as quick as a month, at least you guys got an apology.
If you are seriously raging the price of your PIXEL got nerfed you should take a break.

This is how I feel about it. Things like this happen all the time, everywhere. You buy a new TV, and the next month it's $150 off on a Black Friday/closeout sale of some sort. With some retailers you can return the purchase within a certain amount of time, but it's definitely not the majority of the time. Value has always been made to fluctuate and when something is ONLY valued by its rarity, that is on you to justify what you spend on it. This has happened with game consoles irl with shortages (most recently the Switch), there are scalpers for concert tickets, etc. Maybe I'm not making sense with these comparisons, but I'd just be happy that I've already gotten mine.

I had traded for my AC Wig before the deflation with pure GBC but it never bothered me when it deflated. It just meant if I needed multiples (and I did) it'd be easier to trade for them (and I have). If you like the item and actually use it, not just collect it to trade or stockpile to raise value (looking at specific NCCers) then .. why does it matter

I agree with the NCers being entitled and greedy. I remember way back when the Altadorian Wig with a Gold ribbon was worth 30+ caps and I thought I'd never get that. Then it was rr'ed and I got it easily. It was a good thing to me.

That being said, I don't remember any time when TNT released a htf item unless it was in an rr cap or something so this was a little strange. But it could just as easily have been rereleased inside a capsule and I didn't see anyone throwing an absolute fit with other capsules or other rereleased stuff. It feels a bit like those people are just trying to make sure they are the only ones who have the curtains. I actually prefer the dyework ones to the original!

I'm not sure. When you think about those that have hefty access to NC, most of the time they are the hoarders who will buy a bunch but sit on them until it becomes a favorable value. There will be a lot of people who miss the sale due to time zones or lack of ability to get NC, so stocking up on some isn't awful. I might pick up an extra one or two, but mostly because it's one of my favorite items.

I'll keep an eye on the number of them uft on DTI over the next day (it's already grown from 19 UFT to 31 UFT, but a lot of people are still probably hiding theirs) to gauge on how much more I want to get , if any.

Sorry to anyone that traded for it at 25-30 recently, you just got screwed in my opinion...especially if you bought extra NC or items just to trade for it. To anyone that traded theirs away... phew? xD

Let's hope they handle any future incidents like this a bit better.

To lighten the mood (and marginally off topic sorry) I think I have all the current dyeworks items and I'm happy to lend them out to people here for free.
