The avatar image itself isn't new, it was created a long time ago but was never released. That being said, it's a super cool avatar and it would be super exciting if it were activated!
I've won in the past so hopefully it could be retroactive

They recently did Godori and now this, so they might be going around activating all the unused avatars

i really dont like any of the contest/ random caption avatars. its like 1 in a 100 you'd be the every 5th,10th winner..
Agreed, I'd rather it be like the Random Contest avatar where if you make it in, you get the avatar. So if it is a thing, then fingers crossed for that!
There are lots! Some of them are here: (you need an account to see links) although those ones are kind of ugly
Storytelling is not my forte so I don't see myself getting this one any time soon.
Another avatar I wont be getting then..
It's cute, but if it becomes an avatar, it'll probably be hard to get
