Personally if I were you, I'd hide what my starting pet is, and start looking for higher level players to become friends with. Depending on what your luck is you may not be able to complete the some of the challenges next week if you're not carried.

How can I become friend with higuer levels? Every player I choose to play with is either weak or they haven't logged in in a while.

How do you have 2 neopet heroes??

Which ones are the heroes? Seems like I really don't get the game.

How difficult are crossover challenges? is it the same as the normal weekly challenges? if so those have been easy enough in my opinion.

the best one (imo) is the Vandagyre, great HP and good attack. You can buy all the remaining leaders for 1000 gems each, you can either buy them with real money or farm them (later in Lost Desert, Hard Mode, LV 19-20).
@(you need an account to see links) You could try going to the L&L boards and add the ppl of the "Buddy Codes" board, they used to put the stars of their pet but now i see they dont. So it would be mostly luck i think, other than that i dont know.

and there is also a table with the amount of enemies and their type for every level, which can be very helpful when putting your team together. And from my experience, for you to farm gems you will pretty much play on manual, trying to use as many bombs as possible and try and do megas whenever you can.

I would say they are important for Monster Battles, especially if you don't have a strong team and are going for the ascension stones

good to know i can easily beat the monsters up to the highest bronze place but that's about it for now.

Most of them are easy but some of them can be very challenging early on, for example one of the possible difficult challenges is All For One: to defeat a certain number of monsters without losing any characters. Another challenging one Villainous: defeating boss fights without losing characters. (you need an account to see links) of every possible challenge.

i've checked the list and it seems doable but a good helper is never a bad thing of course and villainous could be a bit more difficult aka don't think i could do it on auto mode at least not atm.
