omg i have so many!!!

back in the day (when i was an ~*~edgy~*~ and hormonal pre-teen), i used to scam people on the site...lol. i used to get their AIM screennames and then i'd send them a blue krawk plushie and tell them it's a magical one that changes their pet if they play with it xD i used to trade for nps or a pet or something, i don't even remember what i got out of it. but they'd be like "it's not working " and i'd say "you gotta do it ~50 times or so" and then i'd block them. i think actually i got a lab map account once and a few good pets.

i would also set up an auto-refresher on the old pound link for the pets who were UFA and the owner had been chosen. i'd just leave it up all day until they did the transfer. i nabbed a maraquan draik, and i think a few other good ones. i also used to "trade" before it was legal or w/e, and i'd always make them go first. after i got their pet, i'd count down and on 1, i'd block em. i got such a rush out of it. i never scammed anyone for real money or anything like that, but doing it for the pixels made me feel so giddy. mind you i was a sheltered catholic school kid so it gave me the adrenaline rush i didn't get doing anything else.

i remember someone telling me that if you visited coltzan at exactly midnight on sunday night, you'd get 1 million np. of course i begged my mom to let me stay up and sho nuff i didn't get shit from it. i think i got an ummagine or something and i was soooo pissed.

there was a girl who posted that boochi zapped her lupe and i was sooo jealous. her username was like dolphinluvr45 or something, and i remember trying "dolphin" for her password and it fucking worked!!! i had never been able to "hack" an account before and let me tell you, i rode that high for days. unfortunately i was an idiot and changed the password before the email so she got back in and changed her pw, but she's lucky i didn't nab her lupe.

there was an adoption guild i was in and there was a girl with the username cheesywhiskers, i think? anyways, i made the account cheeseywhiskers and i remember going in there and posting and getting kicked out immediately lmfao i was so dumb.

that's all i remember for now but i'm sure i'll think of more later.

I used to pretend to be like 6 different people on Neopets and would literally talk to myself to make it seem like I had lots of friends and was super popular. I didn't have a ton of real friends, and doing this seemed to garner actual other players to be my friend. IDK where those people I fooled are these days, but all the accounts I used are purged now along with my first main. The only remnant I have of my cringey past self's deeds are screenies on an ancient photobucket account.

Sometimes I get confused when I read "Selling NP, NC and ETS" because in Spanish, ETS means sexually transmitted diseases. I know it means easy to sell in English but I can't help it.
Sometimes it makes me laugh and other times it confuses me.

Back in the day after conversation when pirate Pets were still worth a ton a pirate Gelert was my dreampet. A friend of mine was so lucky to get THREE FFQs. With one he painted a Gelert.. and one day He went on holiday and asked me to do his dailies.. and gave me his Password. I ended up getting his pet. TBH, I regretted it afterward because I liked him, but yeah, I was 13 years old and dumb.

I used to try to "hack" (ie do detective work, get into emails, and thus into Neo accts) well-known players. I got a number of moderate/less known accounts too, mostly tried the big names were just to see if I could do it, because I knew I'd never get away with actually stealing anything from them. They were way too close to TNT.

Mind you I was about 12-14 years old at this point. And homeschooled. And very, very sheltered in some respects.

Guess who found out what "escorts" were by searching a very well-known (circa 2003-5) player and finding reviews for escorts this guy left under his real name, which he foolishly used connected to his username, which was the same as his neopets name. Never did get further than gathering info on him but yeah. Sites where you could review individual hookers were a thing. I miss Web 1.0.

I sometimes use the "Senior" advantage to get my own way with Neo support. Twice, I have been asked to prove that I'm now 75 years old and a bit forgetful! I have sent copies of my Divers License as proof. It works everytime. Guess they feel sorry for little old ladies Hello again Everyone. I have been visiting family oversseas for a bit. I'm home now. Looking forward to this years AC.

Hi Sweetie, I have several Aunts who are close to my age who live in France and the UK. I have spent the past 4 months there. I'm fine, thank you for asking. I came back for the AC, lol. I like being able to participate in the AC with no distractions. Home alone is great for that. Hope all is well with you during these trying times.

Bought a neopet when I was like thirteen, I don't even remember the details, it might have been a pink pet or something. It was for NPs and not $$$ but whatever, still against TNT's rules. Anyway the seller wouldn't transfer the pet over to me so the pet ended up being sniped by someone else because of my shitty dial-up internet. They gave me another pet in compensation, through trading. I was like, why didn't you just trade me the first pet to begin with???

when i was like 12 i used to catfish people on neo pretending to be a cool emo chick lmao. i had like 5 boyfriends that i would ask to send me stuff, not sure how none of them got wise

the portuguese side of neopets was wild, i remember pulling a lot of similar stunts and not getting into any trouble
