This is honestly what I hope for with all of the vbn t1-4 pets
I just replace the ucs with a vbn painted pet from lost.quiggle with around the same age and then cross my fingers that the pets name was so fucking bad it wasn't a ~permie dream~ pet and just a random pound find
and also bless all of you who introduce nice pets into the pc you are angels

I've bought or sold neopets things since about 2008. I haven't done Neopets goods in a while though but I do still have things I've got to sell. I used to buy gamble packs and they were super fun! Though I'd never get anything that great. To be fair it was just the sellers easiest way to make money from accounts they didn't want anymore. That's fine. They all basically came in handy for me anyway in regards to shells and what not.

Back in the old days, I never thought about purchasing pets, etc. After randomly returning, I found it was easier to just buy my wants and in the end, my accounts got frozen but I was young and didn't know much about VPNs or how vile the PC was back then.
When I decided to return, I just kept an account that had an UC I bought, wasn't an username I would of chosen myself as well as regaining access back to a few accounts that got frozen a few years back. Had giving the info to another person to get the UC unfrozen but they never did and eventually I got it unfrozen and using it as a sort of side account for the moment.
As for someone wanting to regain access to the account - seeing the email that has registered with the account had long ago cleared, I simply just recreated it and now have the original email in my possession so not too sure if anyone trying to recover the account now would actually be successful and to be honest, if I saw someone was playing on an account I had abandoned, then I would honestly let them be. If the new owner has put time in getting avatars, themes, trophies, etc then why not let them play in peace?

Back in the day, it was easy to take bought pets onto the PC through back then you more worried about cache, I know the reason why I was frozen was cause I straight traded the UCs to my account rather then trading them, guess TNT thought pets not traded are stolen pets. These days, if I am swapping pets to my main, etc, I make sure I'm swapping for another pet. At least if TNT thinks something is shady, then hopefully it will just be a reversal but most folks seem to be leaving things be unless it's their pet that's stolen, otherwise they tell folks to drop it, lol.

I've bought several pets, and some came with accounts.
I never felt particularly bothered by it. Most of the accounts are so old they'd be due for a purge anyway. So I'm sure even if someone did want to come back for them they'd assume it's gone anyway.
