How much of Neopets art is based on fan art?

I'm probably pretty late to notice this since it was posted on January and Lutari day was on April 19th (and TNT did give that user the credit they deserve) but the new maraquan lutari looks THE SAME!
Literally, the same. I'm not complaining because I seriously think it's top-notch fan art and it looks great. I'm really happy they took this person's design and used it with minor changes, but on some level, I wish I knew they did this, I might've put more effort in my fan art if I knew something that life-changing can come out of it!

Does anyone know of any other Neopets related items or pets that were originally drawn by fans?

There's one random Korbat item, but as far as I'm aware, that's all.
If there is, there's not much that has been brought to light. Most of the OG amazing artists don't play anymore and probably wouldn't think anything of it.

I'm just wondering because a lot of the new species colors seem on some level effortless as if they put all the thought into the NC items. And also it's kinda fun to compare the fan art to the final product.

There was a Mystery Cap giving out wearables made from fan art from the Random Contest a few months ago. Most items were terribly executed though.

The temple of 1000 tombs mystery capsule and the items were designed by users I believe. But I heard TNT didn't even give the users who designed their item as a gift and that they gave them one capsule instead lol. So the person who submitted the closed eyes contacts doesn't even have one I believe (this item became really popular recently). Please correct me if I am wrong
