I think this should be included in lead-up information for the plot. Back in October, Reginald hosted Trick-or-treating and there was an addition of books discovered with the treat bags. The books are not items but literally excerpts from a book which is described in flavor text. When finding Vira Trick-or-Treat Bag, you will be greeted by a book that is turning grey as you hold it.

It appears Vira is sending out a warning to the world at large and the very notion of her upcoming wrath is turning the book grey like the shopkeepers are beginning to do across Neopia.

They had a live AMA yesterday which went into the plot a little more, and I'm super excited! I think the idea of a longer plot is good but ten months may just be too long if they're only doing small updates once every couple of weeks...Still better than nothing I guess.

the negg faerie being grey is particularly interesting, since we've already seen grey faeries being "created" through their names and magic being taken, and she still has her wings so this is different. i wonder if grey faeries will be part of the plot in general
