    [Searching inside a Folder] -HELP!

On my Desktop computer (old & shitty) I have a folder with .txt files. When I type in a "keyword" it finds the .txt file that has that "keyword" in it. (I am trying to be vague)

When I try this on my laptop it does not work. It says it couldn't find it, when I KNOW its in there. I checked all the options to make sure they were the same on both machines. Also checked indexing options and what not.

WHAT AM I MISSING? I am so confused. I can provide more info if ya need it.

(Please don't ask what I am searching for, you should already know)

Any of you guys know?: @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links)

That is odd. I never ran into that issue, but on the laptop, there was also the issue with actually getting it to update that damn huge new update... I am not sure what was happening or if it might be related. I did find this regarding Indexing, not sure if it would help.

Run the Search and indexing troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps provided below.
Press Windows logo key + X Key.
    Click on Control Panel.
    Double Click on Troubleshooting.
Click on View all option, on left hand side of the window.
Click on Search and indexing and follow the on screen instructions.

Pretty much what @(you need an account to see links) said, I think. (you need an account to see links)

BUT it's still annoying AF for what you're doing.
