I dont see how its possible to uptrade so many times.
Iv got 2 UCs and every time iv visited the PC I just give up. Everyone wants an uptrade so its really crazy to actually find someone willing to downtrade.
Id love some specific advice on how to actually get trades. And how to find pets that will trade higher.
according to your guide Iv got a tier 9 pet id like to eventually get to tier 16. And iv got a tier 18 pet I honestly just want a different name for. What do?

Well, for starters, you have to be very active. I'm currently on medical leave, so I literally play Neo for up to six hours a day. (Sad, I know.) You have to be very persistent and persuasive when it comes to dealing with people. You also have to take risks--step outside your comfort zone. Open up to BD/RN/RW offers, even if you probably won't accept one. You never know (and the bumps are nice too ) Take advantage of every opportunity that arises. Bend over backwards if the possibility for an amazing 3-way trade comes up. Make A/R/B boards if you feel terribly uncertain, but don't take every word for granted; some people will be incorrect and others will simply give one response because everyone else is giving it.
Hmm. That's all I can think of for now.

What is A/R/B?
And I see. So spending 6 hours on the PC is the only way? I should have guessed ;P
Are there any general strategies? Like "downtrading" for a BD pet and then trading back up? Or just simply waiting for some sucker to trade you their +4 tier pet? I dunno. Im just confused about how this will actually happen. Iv NEVER actually witnessed the true uptrade where someone skips Za tiers. I lurk but I rarely post, partially because my account isn't 100% legit and I don't like calling attention to myself.

i went from a - according to this guide - tier 19 to tier 30 in one trade. it's all about timing, what people are looking for, etc. it also helps if you have an extra set of eyes online when you're at work/sleeping. make friends on ck or on neopets that you're comfortable with knowing what you're looking for, and have them neomail/pm/or even text/skype you when you're out and about and they see something. i got a message on skype while i was at work that i checked on my phone that allowed me to offer on the tier 30 pet on my break. a few days later, the owner of the pet picked me.
i know we all like being secretive for our own protection and stuff like that but having an extra set of eyes on the lookout helps a lot.
i know this is 4 weeks old but i wanted to share my input anyway~ mostly @(you need an account to see links)
and a/r/b stands for accept/reject/beat - you make a board like: A/R/B - UC for UC and have the topic asking for help and that you'll mail people the name of your pet and the name of the pet offered on yours. they'll either tell you to accept it, reject it (and why for either case), or try to beat it with an offer of their own.

UPDATED!
Apologies for the previous inaccuracies.
I like this, I definitely see the appeal of the "little steps" @(you need an account to see links) , is the UC Faerie Peophin on this list? I'm not seeing it, but I'll be the first to admit that it might just be me. Great guide, thanks for it!
Bumping
Just a quick issue you should fix - you seem to have forgotten UC faerie peos C: which I assume are row 18
Great guide!!
