Just a heads up but TNT scammed us by making people buy Eyes Be-Gone! to be able to use the new contacts properly. The same with the Mouth area - Mouth Be-Gone! is the LE item in the new cap and you have to use it to overlay with the new mouth items. Hopefully TNT can fix this because its ridiculous to get more money out of it

Ugh definitely gross. I did already buy the be-gone super pack when it first came out so that doesn't affect me but it's so disgusting to make them require one another for people who don't want to spend a million dollars on NC.

It's like Pandora's box, I'd have been happy if they never introduced customization yet here i am shelling out real money for it lmao

Maybe I'm in the wrong and please dont be offended.. but it's a free website that relies on nc to run. Its also clearly struggling with the lack of support. I see this as a desperate move to find ways to make money to support the site alongside the obnoxious ads/premium pop ups. I don't mind them doing this for the expressions because be-gone is this new concept of getting rid of parts of a pet but I think they should have been more upfront about it and that's where I think they went wrong. There should have been some warning about it when you bought the caps. I'm someone who gets a little frustrated when events and promised features are either late/take so long so personally don't feel comfortable complaining about that but then also not letting them come up with more ways to make profit. NC trading is a thing so people don't need to continually buy nc which is their main source of profit, they need to make those caps attractive enough instead of only some people buying the caps and many just trading for them/buyables. If they need to entice people to buy caps, there prob would be much better ways. I think it would be even worse if it was regular item from the cap tbh. Again, I don't want to offend anyone here. I really do think their communication regarding this be-gone feature sucked.

I def hear you about them needing to support the site somehow, but it's pretty skeevy to do this particular thing of requiring some other expensive purchase to use these new items. lots of items in the past have been zoned in a way where they make part of the body disappear, they could have easily done that with this. It seemed like a cool idea to give us more control of body parts disappearing with the be-gone items, but if they introduced that just so that their future items would only work properly if you purchase the be-gone stuff, that's pretty shady., Especially because most items in the past already worked this way without be-gone.

I sort of agree as when the be-gone pack was first released I imagined this would be the route they'd go(selling special body parts and eyes in the NC) which I'm more than fine and happy with purchasing. On the other foot, the mouth-be-gone should've been included with that pack instead of a LE item. It's pretty scummy that, that one is not only limited, but the items with the pack don't work without that LE item. It makes little sense.

If TNT was so desperate for funds, one would think listening to the feedback their player base provides to them would see more fruitful returns that doesn't rely on them one-upping a previous NC item. Jumpstart recently invest 4 million (along with other investors) into the Metaverse aspect of Neopets. Furthermore, they'll also bring in a lot of revenue from NC UCs.

They have the means to make more money, but keep investing their time in things that alienate their own player base.
