Oscars (tonight at 5PM PST/8PM EST)

Anyone following the race this year? I haven't seen all of the 2023 nominees since I'm trying to watch things that leave me happier, but I do have a few opinions on who I want to see win... anyone else?

(Also happy DST... 1 hour less of sleep to wake up at the same time- bah)

My hopes in a few, mostly above-the-line categories:

I'm also looking forward to red carpet looks

I haven't paid attention to the Oscars in a long time and actually forgot they were tonight. I've missed a lot of the big movies, so I don't have any major opinions, def rooting for EEAAO, and after watching a little bit about the Marcel animation process, I'm very impressed, but agree it's probably going to Pinocchio.

I've had so many technical issues trying to VPN into a stream that works that I've missed a lot already

So deserved. He looked so happy through the entire awards & his hug with Harrison at the end was amazing!!

I usually don't watch the oscars but I happened to see a clip of his speech and man- absolutely. I'm so glad he got an award, i haven't had the chance to sit down and watch Everything Everywhere All At Once yet but just from that speech and all the things i have heard about it I know the award is fully deserved.
