With few exceptions I find no appeal in NC shirts/pants/dresses. they all just look so awkward

Honestly, I think that the closed eye contacts are just reaaaaalllllly not it on some pet species.
It's a really good item for some customs but I think the lines are just too thin and it makes the eyelids look so large and odd on some pets.

I don't really like any NC customization (least of all using a format with an expiration date like Flash) but if they were going that route I think they should have made it so the system uses already existing items. You have a bunch of prestigious battledome items for example (weapons, armor) yet your pet can't wear any of them. Then if that somehow changed you wouldn't do something like using your existing Wand of the Dark Faerie to have it show up on your pet, it would be a separate item in the NC cash shop.

They look really awful on most pets. It really accentuates the lack of eyebrows on the designs and reminds me of those "celebrities without eyebrows" photoshops lol.
They're just lazy looking and I have no idea why they're so popular.

Not saying this is your situation of course but my unpopular opinion is that people need to be ruder when rejecting pets. I'm sick of dumbasses thinking their shit pet is worth 3+ tiers up VVVVWN and "shooting their shot" on every fucking thing that moves. I wish I had the balls to tell people off viciously when they try to pull that shit on me. You underoffer on my pet when we both know you're trying to hand me steaming shit and acting cute about it? Fuck off yeah I absolutely have to pass lmao

That and the Trapped in a Jar BG/foreground that everyone wants and is worth something like 100+ in NC items? Balthazars Bag of Bottled Faeries (I got it confused for Trapped in a Jar BG lmao) I don't see the appeal in either of them but I guess people want them because they are so rare xD

Also I really dislike that we have to grind and create pet project pages just to get an UC or some pet. God I hate pet trading, over complicated and messy lmao.

I think its a matter of interpretation on the rejected's offer's part. I personally don't find that rude, it's more just an indifferent/neutral response. It is really just how the language/wording works, I think. 🤷

And @(you need an account to see links) has a point. Some people offer ridiculously over and over, so it almost seems like they need to be told a firmer "no" to help them "get it".

This one probably isn't super unpopular, but I dislike most contacts, makeup and lipstick. I often see the Big Doll Eyes and Pink Lipstick items on Aishas in particular and it just looks awful. The only contacts and makeup I like are the NP faerie ones, and the contacts that are just recolors of the pet's normal eyes instead of the creepy overly-detailed irises most contacts are.

The Big Dolls Eyes makeup on any pet scare me tbh, it reminds me of the dragona contacts (eyes?) but with lashes. If you're going for a creepy puppet-y type look I can kinda understand it, but the everyday customs are offputting (to me)

Kinda the same with the closed eye contacts on some larger headed species, like Vandagyres and kaus? It just looks like a weird empty eyesocket
