Pet Slots might be coming soon

UCs, yes, but I don't feel like people really rallied behind NC pet slots until it was announced? :o I think we were really just like wtf TNT it's been several years since the last time our pet slots were expanded via birthday celebration or premium whatever. I at least definitely thought they would just give us another one on last year's birthday but boy was I wrong :|

Me too, I thought they would have given more pet slots over the years because the update since the 6th has been awhile
I remember coming back from short breaks on neo and seeing we could have another pet which I thought was cool haha

I've been waiting nearly 20 years for this moment. It's just a shame I quit neopets already. This is a revolutionary update and should have come years ago. I woulda wasted my life savings on petslots probably.

Unlimited pet slots would be so cool, but I'm always suspicious when it comes to companies. If you don't have Premium anymore you lose your extra pet slot right? (What happens to the pet, anyway..?)
I can see it being months instead of number of pet slots. But, putting my cynical side away, it does look like pet slots!
Not having to use side accounts would be a real blessing.
I always say I'm just going to have 1 or 2 Neopets and will just focus all my love and attention on them. But then, things happen.. I black out.. all of a sudden I have so many.

To answer your premium question, I believe when someone’s subscription ends the user has to select a pet(?) to yeet into a limbo state (it’ll “appear” in the pound but no one can actually adopt it) for iirc 90 days. They have that long to renew their sub or find a different space to adopt it
