I was able to get it done with my Clodsire, but that was because the group had another Clodsire, Slowbro and Gastrodon. Nobody fainted lol

Ugh ngl I am not hyped to try and get Greninja. I love Greninja but I've grown kind of frustrated with the raid battles. Don't really want to wait for a surprise trade Froakie so I am deciding whether I should use Gastrodon or dust off the ol reliable Slowbro. I think I'll switch it up a bit and try with Gastrodon first

Aww, thanks for the offer. <3 I got Greninja and it wasn't the big pain I thought it was going to be, I was in a mood lol. I think maybe I've just gotten bored with the game or something, but I can't wait for a DLC. People are coming up with a lot of theories on what it might consist of. I do want a battle tower of some sort but other than that idk what they are adding/what they should add.

If the DLC is anything like Sword and Shield, they'll probably add in areas/raids so we can get other legendary/mythical pokemon.

Personally, I hope they add more pokemon to the game so people could play with their faves.

So, I’m a complete noob to most Pokémon games despite owning Sword and now Scarlet, but I’m really trying to get into Scarlet and have some fun with the new open world. I’m certainly very behind lmaooo.
If anyone has any tips with what Pokémon I should be trying to add to my team, I’d love to talk about this or have some idea of what I should be going for while I’m still early in the game. I’m kinda having trouble figuring out what to do in general, they let you do whatever you want pretty much which is great but being such a noob I don’t know where to even begin. Is everyone following a guide or just playing however they want?

Honestly, add whichever ones you mind neat! Thats what I did and had a lot of fun
But for me, I tried to go with ONLY new Pokemon as I wanted to try them out lol But there are so many nice ones in general

As for a guide... I'll be honest, I had to look up which ones to go to first as I was actually getting overwhelmed in the game and (for some reason) my anxiety started to rise from it lol

Now.. this is the guide I used, but it does have spoilers with who the gym leaders are. So if you would rather not use it, I totally understand!

This is great advice! You rock, Bulbasaur! I'll just keep collecting what I like and have fun with it.
Also, that is so relatable... I didn't even realize this was my issue until I read your words. Lmao! My anxiety about not knowing what to do is the only reason I have been slacking on playing. I couldn't find any guides online without feeling too overwhelmed because there seems to be a few different ways people like to play. I will just keep doing my thaaang.

I don't mind the spoilers about gym coaches at all, so I went ahead and took a peak. This photo is so helpful and exactly what I was hoping to get some insight on. It makes it easy for a lil nub like myself. Thank you! *saves it*
