It really is terrible and getting worse. The constant inflation of items and predatory behavior has almost driven me away completely. I'm afraid nowadays to trade anything remotely rare/popular because the last one I traded tripled in value in a MONTH.

I hope tnt rereleases more soon, like the MME boxes, those were great.

ugh Colourful Staircase BG is such a perfect example of how inflated shit gets once everyone jumps onto the bandwagon when they value an item.

Also another thing that annoys me are people on the NCC who only trade for pops/htf items. sis there's like a bunch of items that are near ~1-2 that look way better than some pop items. and some people think that their pet actually looks cute with items like Grim Statuette Foreground or tons of pointless htf handheld plushies (i know some people collect them and don't customize with them) in their pets' hands. Some NC items feel like they're becoming items to FLEX on other people BECAUSE they are HTF. Don't get me started with that Underwater Easter Statue shit, ugh.

I honestly wonder how many of the NCCers are aiming for the more popular items because they actually have a custom in mind for a pet rather than want to trade again for something else. Idk just making a career out of advertising and swapping is just so exhausting, god, I have things I don't want, so if you have something I want how about let's trade and both benefit and be fucking done with it

That being said D2I and Jellyneos wish lists are lifesavers for finding possible trades. My only complaint are the people who literally never respond to me �� if you don't think my offer is good enough then tell me what you're looking for and if I can't meet that expectation I'll be on my way! Please don't leave me hanging like an overripe fruit I'm begging you

Yeesssssss! It used to be this way, and it used to be fun getting stuff that looked good on your pets. Now its just a hoarding race for values. What good is all that shit going to do for people when there's only a few left with most of the valuables who wont trade with each other?

I don't trade much anymore - largely because I don't want to deal with the NCC, but it seems like many of the popular/active users are actively trying to rip people off..

I've certainly had it happen to me (and yeah, maybe I should have researched values more) It feels like an extension of the neo attitude where people want to show that they're better or more successful or richer than other players because their pet has a shiny popular item.

Don't get me started on how ugly lots of the customs are. Someone needs to teach people that having an expensive item crammed on every available zone doesn't necessarily mean your pet looks good.

Honestly I think it all started going downhill when shannon's guide disappeared. After that, with the race to get new values together and see who could be The Next NCC Guide... I think it brought the worst people to the forefront - those who are in it to flex instead of just having fun customizing their pets with cool, weird shit. Like, remember The Neocash News? That was the BEST. So many cool customs.

But honestly, stop trying to make Big Doll Eyes look good. They're never going to look good.
