How do I find someone's IP address on the down low?

So I posted a week or so ago about someone harassing me on tumblr and I got some awesome help and managed to snag an IP address from the culprit.

Now I have been digging, and it seems besides narrowing down the city I can't get much more specific then that with the info I have. However I know they are in my hometown, and I have some ideas who it could be. So I was wondering, how do I find the IP addresses of the people I suspect and compare that IP to the one being used by the culprit?

Or is there a TOTALLY easier way to do this?

could install statcounter on your blog :?
doesnt work if theyre using the tumblr mobile app tho

@(you need an account to see links) I did add a stat tracker, and I got the IP address from that. However all it tells me is they are from my hometown and I want more concrete proof. (I actually think ti was you who suggested I get a statcounter program to track the traffic on my blog from before! Thank you!)

So I need to try and find the IPs of my suspects to compare only we don't talk anymore and I have no way to just causally get it :/

If they have skype, you can use a skype resolver on their usernames. I don't know if I'm allowed to link to one, but you can find em on google fairly easily.
