So do you have any weird or strange food combos that you like? Or even a food you like that could be thought of as weird or gross?

For me I like having garlic dips on my hot wings. If I do not have any garlic dip I put cesaer dressing. I also make tuna melts with cesaer dressing instead of mayo.
In Belgium, mayo is the most commenly used sauce with fries.
    Other sauces often used:
    -Ketchup
    -Aioli (garlic mayo)
    -Andalouse
    -Americaine
    -"Bicky"
    -Brazil
    -Cocktail
    -Curry Ketchup
    -Joppie sauce
    -Pepper sauce
    -Pickles
    -Tartar
    -Samurai
    -Carbonade
    - the yellow part of a sunny side up
    -...

But my strangest food combination that I absolutely liked is a salad with scampi (baked), banana and strawberries.

It's not sweet like eating a spoonful of sugar. It is in comparison to other seafood like fish, shrimp, mussels. Lobster is not fishy tasting, it is not meaty umami like a steak. It is...lobster..can't exactly describe it but it is on the more gentle tasting/nice sweetness compared to say mussels. But it is definitely not like eating a spoonful of sugar for sweetness. I think it would be the texture issue for eating lobster, can have that crunch like shrimp but softer and more meaty. It is absolutely delicious.

For some reason I dip my fries in whatever food is liquidy to try it out... as long as I know it won't taste gross.

Icecream and fries (more specifically, Wendy's chocolate Frosty + their fries), mayo on fries, mixing mayo and ketchup together for dipping (cubed) hash browns in.

My mom said she eats tomato and peanut butter sandwiches. Or peanut butter and pickle. Odd.

Oh I should probably add Salmiakki licorice. If you have ever heard of salty licorice that is salmiakki. I absolutely love the stuff. Tiny diamonds, single and double zout are my favorites. I have been called gross, disgusting, a freak and weird because I like it. It is a very strong licorice with ammonium chloride in it that gives a strong astringent almost stinging sensation in the mouth, its an addicting flavor. To me, and my mom, the stronger the better.

Folks from the Nordic countries will have heard of it...if you know of something stronger than double zout let me know. Here it is sold as double salted.
