I tried to vote what I liked while also weighing what I assumed other people would have voted for. Turns out I'm super out of touch with the general Pokemon community's preferences!

But I also just give up my own biases. I love Treecko so much. Lol I'm a man turning 30 in a few weeks but I have a plush Treecko I bought at the Pokemon Center in NYC years ago and I still sleep with him hahahaha. That was also my very first ever completely legitimate perfect shiny pokemon in the games! Right nature and 31 IVs in every single stat!

TL;DR - I love Treecko so much and he didn't deserve to lose to Pikachu

I was shocked about that one! That was one of my "out of touch" guesses - I'll admit, I personally prefer Chikorita (but I do love Fuecoco!), but I thought people looooved Fuecoco and that he was gonna for sure dominate Chiko! I had him as my favorite and voted for him!

But yeah, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, deep down I really do like Chikorita and I'll be lying if I said it wasn't a very pleasant surprise seeing Chiko make it past the first round!
