So it’s basically like a popularity contest in a sense? Because I’m sure everyone is going to vote for who they picked to win. So it will really only get a little trickier once your pick is out and you have to make a picked based off of something other than your own outcome.
I wasn’t sure if they simulated the outcome in some kind of manner or what kind jt impact our votes had. It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out!

As a follow up - if you pick a loser in round one, it would best for you if you pick for the winner of round one to lose in the second round.. to help your own chances.

I would assume it’d have to be xD I figured our votes alone would determine the winners.
If it was just based on type matchups, that’d be too easy/obvious. Anyone could pull up a chart and see who would win each pairing…

I wasn’t thinking strictly type vs type - cuz if you’ve seen the show, sometimes that isn’t always a guaranteed win. It would be cool if they simulated a fight. I wonder if there’s anything that does that. Like in the games, pokemon v pokemon, moves v moves, see who comes out on top on a simulated match. They would be sweet! But probably a mess to code and put together haha
