Melodic user bar - working on it?

Thank you both for the tips I didn't realize I could zoom into that UB like that for some reason haha! And yeah, I've just been clicking the keys with the mouse but I can't hit 2 keys at once like that so that's why I wasn't sure how they managed to get that down.

Anyways, it's not Houndoom or Shawn this week! Do we know when the 'week' resets? Like, is it every Sunday the melody changes or something?

I searched around in the thread and wasn’t able to find if it was Sunday or Monday Definitely one of those days though. I guess it’s worth trying on Monday to see if it’s reset to any of the ones we learned!

Sounds good, I'll keep trying today to see if we can find it before the reset. But then I think if we can't get it today, I'll hold off trying again until Monday to make sure we don't get messed up by any reset weirdness.

Is this something that's tied to being able to physically hear it, or is this something that can be done by watching keys/replicating a pattern? I'm Deaf, so if it's the former, I don't think I'll ever get it without a good deal of help :') I've been scrubbing through this thread to try to figure it out, but I'm having trouble trying to figure that out.

You can watch the keys and replicate the pattern!
If you look on the previous page, you'll see I posted a list of users who have a melody recorded in their userbar. You can go to their profile, zoom in a ton so you can see the melodic userbar clearly, and the melody should start playing. You'll see the keys kind of dim as they're pressed. It'll play the melody once, and if you want to see it again, you can refresh.
The only issue you might have is if the same note is played multiple times in quick succession, since it'd be hard to tell visually... I think that's the case in howdy's melody for example. Certain keys are pressed 5x in a row.
There's a graphic someone posted earlier that will help to map out the pattern... lemme find it real quick.

The melody was 15 keys and I was having the damndest time memorizing it so I just created a visual. If we know what the melody of the week is and someone can point it out to me, I can make you the same sort of visual guide if it would help, feel free to @ me anytime on it

When you record using your computer's keyboard, you can press multiple keys at once and they'll play at the same time on the userbar.

OH there's literally letters and numbers on the keyboard in settings wow that just registered what that was for. Thank you!
