I always forget who is from where. I know a lot of mexican users have shared where they're from.

My husband is from Spain and they're a holiday thing there. I don't like nuts in my cookies so I've never tried, nor heard of them. They're alright... I am a simple chocolate chip girl.

OMG sorry for the super late response. It was pretty simple, mostly just stuff I have in my pantry because of the holiday. Here's a recipe, kind of guestimating since I did not measure my pours. I was feeling indulgent lol

Dried orange wheels:
Thinly slice orange into wheels. Dehydrate at low temp in oven until dried completely through (I dry mine around 225F). If storing in a sealed container, add a tea towel or chunk of kitchen paper to absorb excess moisture and prevent molding.

Orange Sangria Drink Thingy
2 oz Sangria or sweet red blend(it was the shitty Aldi Sangria! would not recommend this one, but I'm trying to use it up)
.5 oz dry gin (Beefeater my beloved)
Juice of 1 large orange
Frozen berries
Soda water

Shake all ingredients besides soda water. Pour into glass, and fill to the brim with the soda water. Garnish with dried orange wheel.

I thought it might be good with a bit of rosemary extract, a better red blend, and perhaps an egg white to stabilize the foam a bit.

Finally got around to getting some treats! There's a coffee/cupcake shop near me that makes the BEST cupcakes. I grabbed a half dozen mini cupcakes of my favorites, red velvet and blue velvet (which is their take on almond cake) and a mint chocolate for my boyfriend

I love the Christmas season!
We have many treats that we only enjoy at Christmas, but my favorite is Pan Dulce.
It is something similar to bread but sweet and super fluffy, it can have chocolate chips, raisins or candied fruits. It took me longer to take the photo than eat it lol I really love it.
