Thank you for posting this and informing us about all of this! That is some pretty nasty behavior :c I wish people would stop idolizing this guy. Though I wish he couldn't have turned out to be such a bad person with all the knowledge he was bringing to this community in the beginning!

I'm confused how is everybody so certain? It is just based on the grammar?

Adding to @(you need an account to see links)'s post, it's not so much the "grammar", but their style of delivering their posts and the way they word certain things.

When you've known someone and chatted with them daily for hours... worked with them for over a decade in this cheating scene, and they disappear due to such a ban reason then come back... you'll spot them easily. They tried to hide it initially. Check their early posts on reddit, and comments vs. the way they post now. They got lazy and stopped trying.

They use the same smileys at the end of their message often.

The time of when they are online and posting is another clue.

Some more was shared in the Discord when this thread was posted.

There are just too many similarities. Too many. A few and of course, we wouldn't be talking about this right now.

I linked his profile so you can go through his "latest started thread/posts" to compare his style of messaging to the reddit posts.

Apparently, someone shared this thread with him and he did not deny anything.

Indeed, by “grammar” I meant writing style: diction, syntax, tone, other quirks.

I haven’t noticed a stylistic change throughout their time on Reddit. I’ve never found them to be a very good communicator, in a way that suggests English probably isn’t their native language, but that’s all. guess I will read through the alleged’s history here sometime and see what vibes I pick up lol.

I also do not know what was shared in “the Discord” (r/neo’s? or does clraik have one?)

After initial suspicions and looking into it more, to me there's a clear attempt at improving their grammar to look more presentable while, perhaps, also shifting away from their older posting style. I wouldn't want to come back under that same name after what happened here.

Another share in the clraik Discord - RDD/DB has "Database Management at MTV" for past experience in their public LinkedIn (their real name), which is exactly what you could say he's still doing under the name neo_truths. Guessing this is supposed to be another flex...

How are you all such talented internet detectives? Wild you could find his IG and linked in. Really weird flex on the MTV database thing. How are you going to explain this in a job interview? “Oh yeah I hack neopets.com and post my findings on Reddit” doesn’t seem like an experience an actual hiring company would be looking for.

Especially since it's serving no purpose other than inciting the userbase. We all know cheating is there, it is for any game. Pointing it out this specifically doesn't do anything but take potential items/pets out of circulation.

Most of the pets/items in the game now we're probably introduced by illegit means. Without this, the site would get even more stale than it is now.
