Scamander Invasion at the Money Tree

Do you think J.K Rowling played Neopets in the 2000's? the main character in fantastic beasts is called Newt Scamander, and the petpet is clearly a newt! (I googled scamander to see if I was stupid and it was like a biological name, but nothing came up )

I got one after about 20 minutes by doing this, going to give it a break and go for a second one in a bit:

• CTRL + click each of the 20 Scamanders
• Right click on your primary tab, select "Close other tabs"
• Refresh the Money Tree
• Repeat the above steps until you've clicked a total of 100 Scamanders, check inventory

I was waiting 5 minutes or so between each 100 clicks and only clicking 2-3 times per second.

Worked for me in about half a minute! Thanks

According to JN the Scamander was released July 10 2002. Newt Scamander is listed as the author for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in PS/SS in the required book list, which was originally published in 1997, with the companion version of the book coming out in 2001, so if anything the neopets item is a reference.

Yeah, that book and Quidditch Through The Ages were both nonfiction books from within the story, written and released as part of a charity thing early in the series rise to popularity. The plot of the movie series has absolutely nothing to do with the book itself. It was just a psuedo-nonfiction glossary of magical creatures. The movies I guess are... a cash grab the wacky hijinks New encounters while researching what will later become the book.

JK Rowling may be trash, but I can't un-know all of this little tidbits lol.

I still have not managed to obtain one after a whole day. and time is running out x_x
