gorgeous ucs going ufa on the pc

A few years ago there were a lot of legit UCs UFA but lately it's been stale and along with people moving bought pets, there's more drama than there used to be, especially with people being nosy about UFA UCs. Not worth it. Even if it is legit, it'll probably be given to a friend, left to rot, frozen, or given to the applicant who spends 100+ hours on their app and has shiny art.

I also feel like there's a lot less UFA UCs compared to a few years ago just because there are a lot less people playing Neopets. As more and more players stop playing/forget about the site, their pets just sit there and the market slows down. Same thing with avatar lends. I remember even like two years ago there used to be boards with people lending big three items at least every couple of days. Now the last person I remember was resict, and that was weeks ago.

That and people are less willing to let go of their UCs as they become more scarce.

I've had experience with a few of these. Put in some lengthy applications.

Always ended up being sketchy as fuck, going to some guy with an application made in an hour.

I applied for a slew of UC pets over the years. The only one I ever 'won' was from a board app and that one still shocks me even though it was a low end UC. I see a bunch of nice pets UFA now that I would love but I know I wont get them even though my art and pets all look fabulous like you guys have been saying it's pretty much rigged as hell. I find buying them much more therapeutic anyways. I don't have to stress over months of applying and hundreds of hours and don't have to settle for whatever there currently is. Just buy the darn things!

I've never participated in the whole application process, but I've been lurking some just to see how people are reacting. People aren't even accusing the obvious. I don't see the whole buy uc and pretend its ufa scheme though. Draws way too much attention imo.

I think the pc is getting remarkably better with buying ucs. I've watched the board were somebody on a newb account looking for drama announced that they've seen a high-end uc on a long,long ago account be removed. The pc just told the newb to leave it alone and don't report.

topics not about buying pets, it's about ppl being dumb to put pets ufa on the pc and giving ppl false hope

well as someone who has done the app game before, i dont think it's false hope! i agree with @(you need an account to see links), the app process is mainly for people who have character driven neopets, and at the end of the day, you still created something, and if you dont get the pet and think it's a waste of time, then why were you really applying in the first place? did you really like that character, or did you just really want a little pixel trophy pet on your account? i know UC pets look cool and all, but i'd re-evaluate some things if it's the latter, who the hell are you trying to impress on neopets??

applying is a risk. it is up to you whether or not if you decide to take it. even if the UC is legit, you still might not get the pet. i don't see the point in bitching about whether it's a cover up for a buy when the risk still exists if it's a legit pet or not.

Applying is always a risk, but a lot of pets have actually recently been adopted out (I got a Ufa UC too a few years ago) so I'd say it's around 50/50? Honestly I think people are suspicious of a lot of perfectly legit pets (and similarly, a lot of illegit adoptions go under the radar) so whether you want to try it is up to your judgement.

um so like the vwn uc dari aisha with a player who's never been on the pc is pretty much not a 50/50 deal here.

why am i bitching @(you need an account to see links) ? well cause if you buy a pet, there's other ways to cover it up instead of posting pets like that aisha on the pc
and there's at least a chance of being chosen for a pet when it's actually legit instead of applying with the thought of /a chance/ when you get zero in reality cause the pet was sold to someone instead so yeah let me be a whiny person but thats my opinion
