Since I'm going to Universal next week, I've been binging the Harry Potter series. Just watched Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire tonight. That shit brings tears of joy and sadness to my eyes.

Just watched the new Thor! Love Taika Waititi's direction for movies.
If you guys never watched 'What We Do in the Shadows' I highly recommend giving that a watch if you're into mockumentary-style movies! He co-wrote and directed as well as acted in it. Pretty talented guy
I have no clue what I'm doing

I'm going to see this on Sunday! I also LOVE What We Do in the Shadows (we are werewolves, not swearwolves hahaha)

The last movie I saw was Lightyear? It was a fine movie (not Pixar's best, but not their worst either) and I feel the criticisms are overblown online.

I watched Five feet apart last night. It's got a beautiful and touching story which tugs at your heartstrings. I read that it's inspired by Claire Wineland, making it much more heart-rending.

I watched Sing 2 earlier this week upon hearing favorable comments here... it was not my favorite. I'm not sure if I can pinpoint what I found missing but perhaps it was almost too "this is the lesson we're trying to instill here" for me, which fair, I'm not the intended audience!

Then last night I watched Cyrano. I'm a massive fan of the original play and have seen it performed in full classical form, which was tremendous. I was not aware this was going to be an adaptation of a musical version of the original and was in for quite a surprise. The actors and actresses did a fine job but it just wasn't the same. If I came in knowing nothing, I might have liked it better. The plot is a massive tear-jerker no matter what. Time to reread the original script.

A Canadian zombie horror-comedy cult classic: Fido

    From Wikipedia:
The film takes place in a 1950s-esque alternate universe where radiation from space has turned the dead into zombies. This resulted in the "Zombie Wars", where humanity battled zombies to prevent a zombie apocalypse, with humanity the ultimate victor. The radiation still plagues humanity, as all those who die turn into the undead, unless the dead body is disposed of by decapitation or cremation. In order to continue living normal lives, communities are fenced with the help of a governing corporation named ZomCon. ZomCon provides collars with accompanying remote controls to control the zombies' hunger for flesh so as to use them as menial task servants.

It’s stupid but it’s oddly good for what it is. Give it a watch if you want something silly yet filled with zombies
