I don't know for sure but I'd guess they have too much on their hands with this and SDCC to be giving half a fuck about people with multiple mains.

TNT has a lot on their plate. I hope they really legitimately hired a cybersec firm. What else are they going to be able to do on their own anyways? This is a “I need professional help” type of situation.

I feel also they could be opened up to lawsuits over site security and customer information? Hopefully whoever the holding company is didn’t fire Laywerbot

N_T won't stop playing around they're the Gray Hat Hacker that the r/Neopets loves for what ever reason. Personally I think they either are behind the sale or have shown such a spotlight on the swisscheese security of NP that they practically invited someone else to come in and do this.

That would be the dream. If they indeed are getting help from an outside security company, maybe, just maybe, they're being advised to go that route in addition to patching up any vulnerabilities that are widely known.

...As for whether it will happen in this lifetime, who is to say. Let's be real, TNT is a skeleton crew at this point.

Is this what we were saying with the last data breach?

Sorry if this was mentioned but what's the difference between the information they got from the last data breach and this one? Is it all the same stuff most likely (like passwords, emails, pins, etc)?
Or does this one include all those special "exclusive functionality", "live access", or something?

I guess I'm asking is if we know if they have access to information they didn't already have before (aside from information we've updated like new passwords).

I don't have the slightest hope that they will implement something like 2FA but in the unlikely event that they do... Well, that would be funny to see. Funny because yesterday I changed my account password (from work pc) to a random one and now I can't log in from home.

This is the beginning of a series of days where I constantly change my passwords. My best defense is to be clueless.
