This thread made me literally laugh out loud. Of course I have a lot of pet names for my animals, but my son, who is 16 now, was always my little beebie, and for some reason that turned into my little peebie. The name has stuck and EVERYONE calls him peebie. Our neighbors, his friends, our family, EVERYONE. So anyway, he was about 2 and the cable guy was installing our cable and we were all outside. The guy installing the cable in front, and my son and I were in the backyard. All of a sudden I couldn't find my son. So I am running around screaming Peebie, peebie. It was probably about 1-2 mins but felt like 10. LOL. The cable guy, looking at me like I was crazy, as I am frantic now, finally said, "are you looking for the kid?" I, all panicky say, "yes!!!" He says, "Oh, he's right here. He's been here. I thought you were calling the cat or something." LOL. I was beyond embarrassed.
(cat) Charley: "Meow Problem" or "Char-neee"
(Cat) Echo: "Hump" or "Hump(t)y" Because he falls off of everything he's laying/sitting on.
(Dog) Zues: "Baby goosey of the world" -my mom. Also "Goose", "Poose", and "Suzy" (lat one because of the way my sister's boyfriend pronounces his name)
My parents and I we call one of our dogs Vacuum because she eats her food so fast, and waits for the other dog to stop eating and she'll steal all of her food too.
We have some fun/weird nicknames for some of our cats. Nina we usually call "cow" or "little cow" because of her pelt. She also has another nickname from back when she was still nursing her kittens but idk if it's appropriate to say it lol
When Mia was alive we called her "old lady" because of her age. Tom we call "tuna" for some reason. Kiko is often called "poop" or "pooper" as homage to his amazing pooping abilities.
