the issue is one that could be a number of different hardware failures. funny enough i took it in for repairs on monday and got it back today unfixed. :') some friends are sending me some parts to control test to see if its my gpu or power supply. but if its neither of those its probably my motherboard and frankly i do not want to deal w that lol

They did that to our local Sheetz here recently! I was like dang, it would really suck to have to make that 45 minutes there and back every day, let alone for people who rely on rides from others to be able to pull that off for six months. :/ Hopefully that gets resolved soon, I've been there and it sucks so bad.

EXACTLY! We only have one car right now so that is kind of how my situation is and we’ve been having another one of my coworkers who cannot drive due to medical reasons go back and forth with me. It’s been so stressful.

so something similar happened to where i had to drive 35 minutes to a different location for several weeks (ended up being about 2.5 months) till i could move to a store near me. i took 1 day a week to stay on the schedule as i wasnt offered a LOA, made it the same day per week and got a temporary job local to where i was staying for that duration and ended up going back full time to my old job after the position for me at that store became available. (; maybe that would work for you in the meantime? i wish you all the best <3

Honestly this is a really great idea!!! I was thinking about looking into it.i probably will do something like this if they push the remodel back any further. I’m so sorry this happened to you too! It’s so stinky ;___;

entirely my own fault this time but: ordered a new gfx for the good old dying pc. bought a 3080 and didn't read too far into it, turns out it's a turbo edition and it sounds fucking abysmal. i'm sending it back next week, but i spent a good 1.5 hours taking apart my pc to fit this thing into it (needed to connect an additional power supply and someone else helped me build this thing initially, so it was way more trial and error than it should have been) and connect it properly. wanted to reorder a regular 3080 but between ordering it yesterday and it getting delivered today, my local store ran out of discounted cards soooo i'll have to settle for a 3070 if i want one, or stick to my old card, which means i'll have major problems running baldurs gate 3 on the lowest settings OR risk a nuclear meltdown next to my legs because who on gods green earth decided putting one stupid tiny fan on a 3080 was a good decision, uuuugh.

I ONLY HAVE ONE MORE SURGERY TO GO THROUGH
but the angry part is. I DONT KNOW WHEN. COULD BE NEXT MONTH COULD BE NEXT YEAR WHO KNOWS.
this one isn't an emergency like before so we're waiting until I can go somewhere to go under for surgery this time cus it's way more deep this time to get the surgery done.
and the place i been going said they aren't comfortable with doing something that deep there without having someone put under first.
