It looks cute, but now that I've seen pictures of the real deal I wonder why they photoshop it to look so smooth when in reality the pieces are a bit rough... If I worded that correctly.

The Acaras pose is BEYOND CUTE. (I hope they make a plushie that's sitting like that some day) The Korbat is really nice as well, using the tail to hold the chain was a really nice touch. It would be cool if they make jewelry for all the species at some point, or maybe pick a few in the near future that are a little bit more popular? Nice to see them branching out though and working on different types of items.

The post states "This is a CAD design - finished piece is in production!", so I don't think they're trying to fool anyone necessarily, just giving off an idea of what's coming. But I definitely feel like it made the first round of jewelry feel pretty underwhelming compared to how pretty the smooth digital versions looked.
Really loving the korbat though, will probably be getting it when they post some finished pics. Still wish they'd done more than just silver and gold tho.

Agreed, looking at the final product for the first round was a huge turn off to buying any future jewelry. There designs are super cute and I hope that the final product looks like the picture this time around.

If they're already outsourcing ideas to the community (which honestly I think is pretty cool since people love to contribute to things they like), why not ask the community to help trace their UC pets and update them for customization? Lol my wishful thinking.
