But - listen - what I really want to know is - listen - when can I play Key Quest again. It was my favorite game back in the day and - listen - I'm just wondering if you could bring it back. I feel like that's the question we're all waiting on an answer to.

Left some questions for them. I also really agree with the person in the twitter thread about maybe bringing some version of KeyQuest back on mobile or something. Habitarium as well...with how much they're trying to force mobile games, Idk why KeyQuest wasn't somehow implemented already in some form when it's been desired for years.

Both Key Quest and Habitarium ran on infrastructure that wasn't brought along for the ride when Neopets was transferred out of Viacom's servers, and the Neopets team made it clear that they wouldn't be working to bring those games back after the acquisition. Some time later, most of the Neopets team was fired, and the site's content creation, programming and support responsibilities were outsourced. There are so many nails in this coffin that it's practically airtight, yet people continue asking about these games whenever the Neopets team does a Q and A. At this point, it feels like low-effort trolling masquerading as confusion and outrage.

re:KQ am I crazy or hasn't this been kind of answered before? (perhaps not in the white and black response you wish for but when is anything ever 100% a yes or no when it comes to Neo lol) iirc it's been confirmed that KQ was built on legacy platforms that absolutely won't be able to be run anymore on whatever modern set up Neo is on now, which means if KQ comes back it will need to be completely remade. Which I think we all agree is not a priority with the very small bandwidth/resources TNT seems to have, given the billion other things to work on first.

Someone did mention in the tweets suggestion KQ be released as a mobile app and that is something I would absolutely love to see... if we live to see the day when the devs have the bandwidth to work on such an intricate app in the future! *pray emoji*

Having just re-listened to the CK (podcast?) from December earlier this week, this gave me a good chuckle!

For TNT, I'd ask about IOM, Bilge Dice, and an avatar for the complete Other III album.

Same. I lost my middle school account with a bunch of NT articles and a UC Werelupe to the purge and I'm still bitter about it.

I feel like the only person in this entire Neopets world who doesn't care about KeyQuest.

what throws of the uc bringing back is that they will probably give an answer exactly like the one about reimplementing retired stamps into the economy: we plan on doing it but we want to do it in a way that wont break the neopets marked (more than already is) and we haven't come to a clonclusion about it yet

the stamp statement happened i think 4 years ago? or more

I had no idea they said they would bring back retired stamps... Why not continue with those auctions they used to run?
