[Guide] How to unlock and care for a Ryugotchi + Ryu Master List (inc. non-actives)

I'm curious, do we know for sure that every Ryu refreshes around the :00 and :30 minutes with a poop and losing a half heart? I've been stalking mine very closely lately because I'm excited to try and have him evolve, but unless someone else is lightning fast with scooping up after him, a lot of the time he doesn't have a poop and just loses a heart, or doesn't have either appear.

So initially every ryu had a chance at pooping during those times, but lately as I've been browsing I've seen more and more needing care during the in-between times (even when I thought I checked), so possibly the schedule is more random now? I've also noticed more that have more poops than missing half-hearts or are missing hearts without poop (which could be explained by scooping without playing or feeding).

Shit, I'm gonna end up at the leaderboard now, aren't I.

@(you need an account to see links) I dont think the refresh times have changed, I think its less activity with the holidays approaching = less Ryus being cared for.

I have noticed a couple of weird things but only got a screen shot of it once.
Like refreshing only my profile at/during reset only to find half a heart missing. No poop.
Or... A poop but no Half Heart missing. I screen captured mid clean but you can see it.

What I've noticed with the poops is that even if you clean them all and fill the hearts, if you refresh there may be a chance at more. If someone goes through the list at :00 or :30, by :45 (when you've gone through the entire list), there is definitely some scavengers left.
In the case where your Ryu has not needed your attention, you could have been beaten to it (I try to take the early morning rounds so if you want to feed then I can back off), or they don't need any and are happy go lucky? From my understanding. Many times I will sit and refresh Yu'lei from :59 - :01 (:29 - :31) just so I don't miss anything. 6/10 times, let's say, she doesn't need anything and is just at full hearts. I think that is a thing as I've seen it with many others as well. It could be seen as a main and mini. The mini being the left overs. It takes a lot longer to refresh, especially if you have 10+ tabs open and lose track. Sorry for the servers. Will pay.

Saaaaame. For the Surfs Up, idk if its coincidence but I spent a day just checking on others profiles from the list and making sure everyone was at full hearts and ended up with it. The moon, however, eludes me. I've tried to tend to my own day and night, others day and night, nothing obvious seems to jump out. There are people who haven't had Ryu's for long getting it though, so there gotta be some kind of trick to it that were missing T.T

Moon eludes me too. I've been taking care of a lot of Ryus, even late at night when most people are offline. So not sure what triggers it. Maybe caring for a Ryu right after it "wakes up?" Or before it sleeps? Hmmm...

This combined with an earlier post that I don't have the mind power to find, what if it's like the Spooky UB? Only on the weekend from 12 - 3 or however it worked. Mush brain is very becoming of myself.. In turn with taking care of Ryus, of course. Hmm indeed..
Or like you said, care about it before it sleeps, maybe you get that last one in for the night and logoff? Hmm..

Im agreeing with you that there has to be some added element to it, like at a specific time or day of the week. Some people managed to get it relatively quickly after getting their Ryu, so it doesn't seem like the amount of interactions is the only factor?
