This might be a little ironic, but as I wonder how built up my sides should be for this, I realize that my actual, legit sides totally look like shells!! Even though they're totally legit, I'm just lazy! lol

Only vaguely related, but is there any way to see what UCs are commonly bought? I can't imagine people regularly drop $200 for a pet.

Sorry to jump in on your board! Would it be safe to say TnT doesn't really watch individual transfers as much as they respond to reports? So like, if you transfer a secured UC to a side/main after x amount of months, as long as you aren't going 'public' on the chat with that new UC you should be safe?

I bought a UC once that was securing over 2 years with the seller. I think what happened was it was being stalked by other people. So I lost it because someone reported it despite it securing again on my account for weeks. I wasn't frozen but I got one of those darn neomails to say that the pet was stolen and returned to the owner.

So theyre sides so you don't have to do a lot of work, honestly. You cant earn NP on your sides so you don't have to worry about trophies or a shop.

I have no proof to back it up, but yes I believe that's the biggest danger is OTHER people and not TNT. Neopets, for some godforsaken reason, is full of boot lickers who seem to think it's their job to do TNT's job for them. So if you lay low and avoid high traffic boards like the PC and NCC, you're most likely going to be fine. I have friends who have been buying and selling pets before I even knew that was a thing who have never been frozen/caught out because they avoid the PC and NCC like the plague.
