What the heck??? I didn't notice since I wasn't anywhere close to the top tier last round. That's a bummer, I don't care for the perks in general

Tbh, some of the last year perks were pretty good. Of course I miss receiving expensive prizes, but if we look with a positive perspective some perks were super nice to have (specially bank/stock/avatar and theme perks), so I'd recommend you to give it a try, not to mention that it's nice to get a new trophy/avatar/feature.
And about the tries, TNT said that they will post a perk shop preview to "discourage players from earning more points than they're interested in spending", so I guess they will show us how many times we could redeem the perks.

I agree the perks are alright, but all that effort for 1 avatar and 2 themes is not quite what I'm after I guess! It would be different if the avatars included a tiny percentage of the retired ones, though I can understand why veterans would get upset about that. And I don't dabble in the NP part of the site at all because I never figured out how to make NP (lol), so bank/stock makes no difference to me. I do understand that others find these perks useful! Just saying they don't interest me at all

I did read about the preview! It's helpful, because I'll probably want to earn as many points as I can to max out my redemption chances and then call it quits.

Sometimes I forget to start it again - my Internet times out occasionally - but by and large, as long as my PC is on, I'm running the script.

Tbh CC is probably not going to be worthwhile, especially since the "rare items" this year according to the editorial are going to be awarded randomly when redeeming prizes, rather than donating.

I'm personally aiming for just 10k - I'd like the top tier prize, especially if it's a nice wearable. Apart from that, meh.

im honestly too scared to be running the script 24/7. xD but ive heard of many ppl doing it.

Last year the points depended on the item rarity:
r1-r79: 1 point
r80-89: 2 points
r90-97: 6 points
r98-r100: 8 points
r101: 1 point
r102-r179: 4 points
r200: 15 points

So with 10k points you had the golden trophy

excited for my first charity corner, wonder what rare item drop perk they were referring to?

I want to say there was a mention of a Battledome item drop perk (maybe increased item drops per day?? higher quality loot more consistently?), but there was also some talk about prize redemption having a chance at giving you rare items as well.
Personally, I'd definitely like to get the old CC item system back, just... with a wider pool that wouldn't make the economy funky, and preferably make it not guaranteed, but maybe 10-15% to occur? I like the new system, but rare items are always fun. ;p
