VPN/Proxy Question

I know this has probably been asked to death, but I have a question about VPNs and Neo. I just bought a subscription to PIA, which as most of you know is a VPN and also comes with a SOCKS5 proxy. I believe I've read somewhere on here that Neo can tell if you're using a VPN, but cannot tell if you're using a proxy. So should I only use the proxy instead? Like, will TNT see I'm using the VPN and automatically freeze my accounts for suspicious activity? Also, I've seen a few reviews for PIA claiming a common problem is the connection being dropped, and that worries me a bit, has anyone here had issues with this?

Whether you're using a proxy or VPN always check those "What's my IP" pages to see if they detect you're using one, Doing a (you need an account to see links) also helps
Never heard of that happening...Proxies and VPNs are used (Usually, from my PoV) to avoid getting an account where you cheat on linked with your main/home IP
Don't have PIA but that sounds like it could happen to any VPN...

I used HMA so I can't speak for PIA specifically but I haven't been frozen so far. I have checked multiple times and HMA isn't detectable.

I have checked on a couple of IP test websites to make sure it's working, and so far so good ^^ It seems like most people on here use VPNs without a problem, but I just wanted to be sure. I've been reading up on all this stuff, but I'm totally new to actually trying it ;u; And yeah I figure most would probably have that problem now and then, it's bound to happen I suppose, I guess I just wanted to see if it's frequent thing with this one xD

HMA was my second choice, I hear a lot of good things about it xD If I don't end up liking this one I'll probably head over and try that one out, thanks! c:

Yes, PIA will drop randomly and it's sooo annoying!!!!

I've been using Tunnel Bear now as my VPN, and I've encountered no issues while using it on Neo as of yet.

Ahhh ;o; I'm really worried about this sort of thing! But Neo only tracks your IP during log ins/outs right?

I've been using Tunnel Bear now as my VPN, and I've encountered no issues while using it on Neo as of yet.

I've seen a couple people mention Tunnel Bear, but I haven't looked into it at all. If this VPN doesn't work out, I'll give that one a look as well ^^

Never been dropped with HMA and I used it day and night for the training bot if that helps you have ran it for 24+ hours straight not a drop. Can't use netflix while running it which is a bummer though.
