So I logged into a shell account without my proxy over the weekend, I literally just clicked on a bookmark and I was in... what are the chances that this will get linked back to main account?
Anyone have this happen to them? and how long before I can relax and not fear the "freeze"?

Someone might have noticed.
Keep using the account with proxy, if in 1 or 2 weeks it's still fine you probably didn't get caught.

I've heard that it only takes notice of your IP when login in and out of the account, not sure how much truth there is to that but if that was the case, you'll be alright

Okay, it;s time to educate Grandma, again! What is the difference between a "shell account" and a side account?
A shell account can actually be a side account.
Shells are just empty accounts with nothing on them. Often used as throwaway accounts for testing bots, spamming the boards, hiding items. Pretty much anything you can think of. Legit or illegit.
Side accounts are just the accounts you keep linked to your main, though you can link shells to your main if you want them to be your side account in question.
@(you need an account to see links) I wouldn't worry about the IP though. Not a big deal. I've done it before, as many other people have. No repercussions ever came to me, and as far as I know, nothing ever came to anyone else. It happens. If TNT ever sees it, I'm sure they just knock it up to you being at cafe or a friends house or something. Not doing something malicious.
