Hard agree, my esteemed howdy.
It was initially created in here after asking J03 for advice on where to post. I was pointed in this direction or 'Other games'. Both defaulting to public access.

I want to add as a last note that the Emporium doesn't serve to disincentive people from answer sharing, as there's no possibility of gaining 0 points and adding this feature would defeat the Emporium's purpose..

I don't agree, and I wonder if that thought comes from a misunderstanding of how the Emporium credits work. Points from a round is a function of percentage of guessers who got it right. No matter how you slice it, sharing an answer is against your own interest - right? Unless your goal is to dilute the rewards for everyone.

For Lenny Conundrum and Mystery Pic, the original Neopets implementations used the shared NP pool as a disincentive for answer sharing. But as time went on, some split of four million Neopoints became a negligible reward - far less noteworthy than some of the items that come from the competitions. So users logically turned to working in groups to be in the first 50 to get a cool and potentially exclusive item.

I hope it makes sense how and why we have tried to divert from that. With the current player-base size, sharing the answer with even 20 people decimates the points you'd receive. If folks are committed to answer sharing in spite of this, it makes me think we need to disincentivize further by shifting the curve.
