Does it matter if I just stick to one enemy? For example, I only kill 1 Brute Squad enemy over and over, but don't touch anyone from the sway.
Is it all just about number of battles overall?

There are different points depending on who you battle and on what difficulty. If you play the hardest opponent on the highest the difficulty, you'll get more points for your fraction.But don't feel pressured to fight harder opponents that your pet can't handle. Loses supposedly count against the fraction as well.
The issue with the guild's choice is the number of people doing just 10 battles and stopping.
If it was total battles or if everyone pulled their weight to do as much as they could, the guild would win every time!

Like i said earlier in the thread, the guild recently removed hundreds of people. The entire message board is filled with people doing 100's to 1000's of battles for this week's faction. The 10-battlers mostly come from the neoboards.

Going back to the brutes convo, it seems like the only people going hard for them are people who still need the avvies. And they got that 12k guy on their team too.
If anything, this should be a wake up call that people still care about the BD to TNT haha. Even a few minor bug fixes here and there would great for the BD, but I guess the coding for it is all over the place for anyone to fix anything.
