Yeah, when I unlocked both of mine I didn't mention any fruits nor did I quote/mention anyone. But I like the theory that interacting with more people ups the chances!

most, if not all of mine were unlocked without quoting/mentioning people I think.

I maybe there's a character limit so you don't necessarily spam. I feel like all the posts I got mine on were definitely more than a couple sentences.

I think there's a character limit too since my first post was relatively long compared to my other posts. I think my second one (watermelon) wasn't very long of a post, but I try to keep most of my posts a minimum of two sentences.

PS - I have a hunch the watermelon UB is unlocked when you mention certain fruits. I got mine when I talked about strawberries.

I just got my watermelon popsicle in my last post in the thread of the possible future plot, it was my forst popsicle userbar, i did reply to a message and quoted the prior message!

I think it also just helps that once the ball starts rolling it keeps rolling. I check cK constantly and the past week or so it seems like every time there's new stuff to reply to vs the slower trickle it tends to be, which makes all of us more likely to respond, generating more things for others to respond to, et cetera. At this point I'm not really motivated by the userbars, I'm just happy to be chatting!

This! I've totally been vibing in the Summertime chat. I love reading all the memories and hearing how people like to spend their time. Gives me ideas on what to do with my summer.
I'll be damned if I go all summer without trying a Melona bar. It's a mission now.
