Had a nostalgic animated movie night with friends last night, first we watched The Trumpet of the Swan, which I had never seen before. It was uh...interesting, not gonna lie some of the animation had me nearly in tears over how bizarre it looked, most of the budget must have gone to the voice cast and getting Little Richard to do a song for it. But what the hell, my friends had enjoyed it as kids and I'm sure kids wouldn't care about that stuff, the characters were still cute!

Our second movie was The Care Bears Movie, which I was super excited about! I watched it all the time as a kid and had not seen it in suchhhh a long time! I know I'm not being as critical to this one since it's so nostalgic to me, but god I'm obsessed with all the aesthetics of the Care Bears world, their cars, boat, and computer were all things I really wanted as a kid, LOL. I also didn't even realize Mickey Rooney was in it! I definitely want to watch it again soon.

Today I saw the new movie Top Gun: Maverick with my family. It is sooo good!
This action movie is about an experienced US Navy pilot who must train these elite fighter pilot students for a special mission. There are suspenseful life-or-death moments that really get your adrenaline flowing.
It gets emotional at times too and you will fall in love with the characters. The movie is based on the real-life US Fighter Weapons School but not 100% accurate; they did fib some parts to make a better movie.

My fiance is shell-shocked, I am gleeful. Gonna see it again in theater in a couple of days before its run is over.

Finally got to watch Everything, Everywhere, all at once. It was so good! I laughed, I cried, I loved it!

Needless to say Raccacconie was the best character

Made in Abyss Movie 3: Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei (Anime movie) - Loved it!

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings - pretty entertaining, It had a good balance of action and comedy.

coneheads was a skit from snl that they turned into a movie so that might be why? i used to love that movie when i was a kid.
