yes these dolls were everything!!!! I did spend WAY too long making one on elouai. I checked doll palace on Wayback Machine years ago and when I realized it wasn't working I gave up on ever trying to relive these memories again ahh

Everyone's dolls look so cute!!! I missed a bunch of posts overnight but thank y'all for indulging in this with me!!! I didn't figure as many people would be interested because I kinda thought it was an isolated experience for me LOL but I'm so glad I have found my people!

Just found this absolute RELIC on one of the pages. RIP AIM. I used to be obsessed with making cute profiles and making cute icons! I had a program downloaded called Aim Applesauce which made it so I could change my font color to any hex vs AIM itself only let you pick a handful of colors. I thought I was somethin' y'all.

omg the world of making AIM/AOL/MSN icons was a wild one

Yesss! There was a specific one I used a lot. It was a dancing Gir that I can't seem to find because I was looking for it to show y'all!
And there was also a user on Deviant Art who created them and had their own pixelated "Batt" characters that I'm trying SO hard to find because if anyone else remembers them, being such a specific thing, it'll make me happy!

Oh thank you! My boss would fking kill me if he knew how much time I spent making that at my desk lol.

Honestly I was just trying lots of stuff out, liked the devil tail, and then started looking at all things red! The face was a last minute add. I actually added a bunch for a "normal" then saw that cyclops one and scrapped everything.

Nah it looks really sick. I commend you for sticking true to the red. The cyclops eye and eyebrow are the cherry on top. 🍒

I finally got around to playing with this! There were so many options it was a little overwhelming, but I guess here is vaguely close representation to what I would typically wear



Sadly there wasn't a spooky dog I could add to make it really houndoom-y, but I like cats too c:
I actually never really played with these back when they were super popular, but I do enjoy playing with cute picrews as my friends have shared them! People who have the patience to make these are amazinggg
