I am wondering if on the 23rd, we'll be able to take the auto applied token from a BN UC and apply it to another pet immediately.
I.e. can I take a token from my BN UC Dari Uni and apply it to a WN Uni and make them a WN UC Plush Uni (as they said species specific not colour). Will we be able to have new UC Plushies and Royals from 23rd, or will the token only work when plushie and royals are released. I'm very curious to see.

We were debating this yesterday and if it were the case it wouldn't make any sense to release each color at a time if the tokens were only species specific. I think Sneasel explained it best:

So my understanding is, it is both color and species combo, the Pet have to be the right species but the color can be whatever.
So you will get a Faerie Grarrl Stylish Supply and can put it on a Grarrl of any color.
I don't know, it is very vague all.

I guess it will pasa onto RN/RW which kinda makes worried since those had more reversals.

Yeah I agree with Unown, I knew NC UCs were coming so I've been slowly trying to sell other stuff such as stamps, petpetpets, brushes, etc. I've also spent my fair share of money here and probably won't be changing my non VWN pets since they have lots of investment on them (mainly trophies that I'll be too lazy to earn again).

All the money was worth it by the happiness moments I had

This is great, I think people lose perspective on how long ago 2007 was (17 years!!) and how terribly off-putting UC trading is for newer and returning players. I know some people enjoy trading, but I can imagine that many more were driven away by seemingly inaccessible goals since most VWN++ and RWs have been taken years ago by people also hoping to get UCS and your other avenues like training your pets can take years.

I've been giving it some thought and I honestly might not let go of my BN UCs after the changes. It seems a bit silly but I grew quite attached to them, especially considering all the time I poured into getting them, even though I'd love to have better names lol

I will say though, I'm super happy that I'll be able to get a few UCs I never managed to trade up for. I still am not big on how it seems like the feature will be implemented (the "token that works if your pet isn't painted the same color" idea mainly is hard for me to understand personally...) and it's a little bitter to know old UCs will technically get converted... But overall? Super excited UCs are now somewhat affordable for everyone, new and old.

We had an instance where everyone's pets accidentally showed up as UCs on the site one time haha, I still have screenshots of it.
