I appreciate the site as a whole and for giving me something to play for 20 years off and on. The site means a lot to me and nothing will ever really compare to neopets. The players, art, plots, activities, games, ect. I love it all.

I do wish TNT cared more though and would love to see the site spring back to life more than it is now.

That's just about where I am, and don't know if I could say it better myself. Just appreciate to still have the site after all these years.

I really appreciate my neofriends, I came back to neopets during the pandemic. I was having the shittiest time. I hadn't left my house for months and I was living with someone who would not speak to me (we had a fight and we stopped talking to each other for over a year, even though we still had to live together due to having no other options) so being at home was uncomfortable.
I randomly decided to go back to neopets and joined a guild where I met the most lovely people. ♥
Just chatting about our daily lives and ranting about our jobs meant a lot to me during those dark times.
We even starting talking off-site and setting achievable life goals to improve our shitty 2020. I love my nfs.

All of the items. There is just so many if you'd like to start a collection or a gallery. It makes the game extremely engaging even if a lot of the items don't do anything for their sheer collectors value.

I distinctly remember snagging a cloud gelert from the pound and my sheer delight for DAYS. I had a whole account of pound catches in the end. Some recent lovely and unexpected trades brought back a little of the memory of that joy.

This also reminds me that I created a pet YYYYYXXXXX on my first ever account, which I lost the password to, then when I came back to the site I was pound surfing and found a pet called YYYYY - the first half of my original pet's name. The coincidence blew my tiny mind and I still own YYYYY and he's an ultra hip UC these days.

I still do a little pound surfing from time to time. If they'd fix the pound so I didn't have to see Cherrypingu3 97 times an hour I'd do more.

I remember as a kid I would pound surf for a long time and I would get so excited when I saw a painted pet as it rarely happened. Most times it was adopted fast as it was a transfer. Now painted pets in the pound are pretty common and I do not even bat an eye. This users joy is nice to see though!

As a kid I picked up so may badly named painted pets (and not even good ones, things like snow and starry). After I got the lab I tried to pay it forward by zapping pets until they got painted and put them back for somebody else to shout for joy.

I used to do this too, there were a few other players and we all used to work together to lab zap really awfully named pets into something that might stand a chance of getting adopted with the lab ray.

It's dorky af but I feel guilty picking up BN pets from the pound for trades, so when I had to do a few recently to move pets around my own sides, I morphed them all with cheap but cute morphing potions to help them find homes when I put them back. It worked! And I ended up keeping a starry grarrl on a random side because we bonded.
